About Afternoon Tea at Ballantyne
Located at 10000 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277, Afternoon Tea at Ballantyne operates as an other food place serving Charlotte in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. It looks really lovely, sadly, it did not taste that good. The service was nice, but half of the food was not good.

Review of Tea Service AKA High (gutter) Tea at Ballantyne hotel What a completely disappointing experience. We have been to afternoon teas at some of the finest hotels all around the world. It was supposed to be a celebration of my father's and wife's birthdays as well as a first for our 6 year old little girl. What it turned out to be was a disaster of EPIC proportions. I had thought that high tea would be served in the nicely appointed Gallery Restaurant, but instead they served tea in the lobby bar. We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our reservation and were sat a few minutes later. It took about 5 minutes before we could got tea menus and another 10 minutes before we could select our teas. The worst part was the 30 minutes waiting for the tea to arrive with no one checking on us at all. We were actually in the process of getting up and leaving when the tea finally arrived. Then on top of that, our waitress poured my tea through a strainer that had fallen on the floor after I had requested a replacement because it had fallen on the floor. If that wasn't bad enough, it wasn't the tea I ordered and she had to go get another pot of Earl Grey, which when she poured it, h

Peaceful and relaxing experience. Staff was attentive and answered all my questions before and during the tea experience. The pastries and sandwiches were delicious and surprisingly filling. We enjoyed the variety of options available. One caveat is that they allow the tea leaves to steep directly in the hot water for a long time which can make latter tea servings bitter if one does not drink quickly enough.

Trying to reach the afternoon tea restaurant to reserve for later this month. Tried 6 times in one week, left 6 voicemails, no one responds back. After 6 days now it says that their mailbox is full. Why is it so difficult to reserve a table at the afternoon tea place ?

This was our first tea at Ballantyne. It was a lovely afternoon. With excellent service. Ana was wonderful and very attentive and answered all our questions about the different teas. All the teas were lovely. And the food was amazing. The scone I thought was more like a shortbread cookie than a scone. And I would like to have my own jelly and lemon curd. Overall a fabulous afternoon
